Close up Morey" by Patrik Jonson: The artwork Close up Morey is a photo of the approx. 2 meter long moray eel whose head measures approx. 25 cm. The picture was taken in the Maldives in October 2018 and taken with a distance of approx. 20 cm from the moray eel to avoid pools of water between photographer and fish for the absolute best sharpness. With flash on each side of the head, the shadow is created over the forehead of the fish. - A real hit says Patrik about the picture. Note the small fish that sits and cleans the moray eel's teeth. With his work, Patrik wants to show how fantastic and beautiful it still is in our seas and how important it is that we together preserve our natural heritage so it is not lost.
