Flatrich Bluish: Lars Tunebo likes to let exotic animals dim into familiar city environments for a contrast between nature and city. There are many layers and breaks and a mixture of analog and digital techniques in a Lars Tunebo picture. Here it is a lovely royal blue ostrich against a purple background and with the well-known Flatiron Building in New York as a background. Motifs with exotic animals in urban environments were originally made for an animal rights organization. "It's my way of showing that you can have the animals on the wall without shooting them".
