Pygmy Seahorse" by Patrik Jonson: The artwork Pygmy Seahorse is a photo of the Pygmy seahorse which is only about 1.5-2 mm. The photograph was taken at a depth of about 24 meters in Bali in July 2018. - It took me 5 years before I could take this picture. - The challenges were many - from the fact that we did not find any seahorse, that the diving time was not enough or that the water was too fast, which meant that I could not focus 100%. - I came home after another failed attempt in the Philippines but got a tip that they would be in Bali. 48 hours later I was on my way. On the 24 meter deep sandy bottom, with no noticeable current, I found 5 and I had to use my whole body to try to achieve focus and in 24 minutes I took the pictures I had been chasing for 5 years. With his work, Patrik wants to show how fantastic and beautiful it still is in our seas and how important it is that we together preserve our natural heritage so it is not lost.
