The Warrior (original): – The painting is inspired by the warrior each of us carries within us and characterizes the journey women have made through generations for as long as we can remember. Red stands for vitality and battle as well as love, passion and life. The red ribbon around the eyes is a war painting that defines the battles we fight every day, the fight for our rights. My desire is for the painting to serve as a reminder of how we still fight, bleed and create life and continue to remember our inner warrior.
