Brian Jones Rolling Stones on Cheeta 1965 - Photograph
The photograph was taken by photographer Roony Johansson. It captures the legendary visit to the pirate radio station Radio Syd’s ship Cheeta, which was anchored in Öresund. A chaotic visit that ended with part of the band spending the night at pirate radio queen Britt Wadner’s villa in Lund. Brian Jones, among other things, mentioned that he had bought a pair of boots from Lapland. In 1969, Brian Jones drowned in an accident at an estate in England.
