David Bowie on Ullevi" – Photography The picture "David Bowie on Ullevi" was taken in 1983, by the photographer Magnus af Geijerstam. The motif depicts David Bowie when he played at Nya Ullevi, in Gothenburg in the summer of 1983. It was during the Serious Moonlight Tour that David Bowie visited Sweden and performed two sold-out concerts, on June 11 and 12. During the first concert a total of 61,206 visitors were in the arena to see him live, during the second concert the following day 58,914. In the coming days it was reported about the biggest public event ever in Sweden, and the headlines read "Never before has anyone drawn such a large audience in Sweden" in the daily press.
