Fartyg på grund" - Photography The ship M/S Prinsesse Margrethe runs aground at Kullaberg in 1971. The photographer who captured the accident is Bert Olsson. The ship was built in 1968 in Genoa and christened in Copenhagen after the current Queen Margrethe of Denmark. The ship could take 900 passengers and was operating between Copenhagen and Oslo when it ran aground outside Kullen. The passengers were evacuated with the help of M/S Kärnan and were able to disembark in Elsinore and continue towards Copenhagen - unharmed. In the 80s, the ship was sold to China. The painting is sold framed and is in the format 70 x 50 cm. - FAQ
