Povel Ramel" – Photography The picture "Povel Ramel" was taken in 1955, by the photographer Jan Dahlander. The motif depicts Povel Ramel grimacing, wearing a lice cardigan and top hat. Povel Ramel had many strings to his lyre and was a Swedish text and revue writer, composer, pianist, singer and comedian. He produced several songs and revues, as well as pub shows and innovative musical comedy programs. Povel Ramel is best known for his uncanny songs with great musical variety and playfulness, and is often described as a word and tone creator with a sense of humor and joy. He always wore thick-bottomed glasses and a headdress as we can see in the picture. The painting is sold framed and is in the format 70 x 50 cm. - FAQ
