Tulip by Malin Signahl: - The painting Tulip is inspired by spring's first cut flowers, the tulips. Flowers on long stems that are beautiful to place in a vase during the first months of the year when the light slowly returns and the days get longer. For me, the tulips hold a promise of an impending spring and returning light. - In the motif, I have worked with the contrasting effect between light and dark as a supporting image element. The darker surfaces in the image contrast with and lift the lighter parts. I have also used the fluidity of watercolor, which is exciting in a large motif. Graphic sheet by Malin Signahl The artist Malin Signahl draws inspiration from nature, its colors and seasons that come and go, which is reflected in her motifs which are dominated by flowers and butterflies. Malin Signahl's paintings are rhythm, harmony and the poetic expression in nature the most important to create the light feeling that characterizes her paintings. Here, the romantic, beautiful anemone can be seen standing out against the paper with flowing, gray watercolor tones.
