Birchpower, Falun Sweden: - I have driven from Stockholm on my way to Falun and the hospital where mother is fighting for her life. She won't make it but we don't know for sure yet. Just that she is too weak for chemotherapy. I have turned right at the roundabout in Hedemora and have a few kilometers to go to Falun. I see the grove already in the distance and slow down. Then stops at the side of the road and gets out. Not a human in sight. IM not in a hurry. Fortunately, the camera is included. The only sound I hear is the crunch in the gravel of my steps. Quietly, as if in devotion, I take my pictures. Nature taps me on the shoulder and asks me to remember that life is a gift we get to own for a while.
