There is a whimsy, playfulness and joy in the paintings that are rooted in Marie-Louise's celebration of life itself – the love, the colour, the liberating and the wild. Marie-Louise has for many years practiced meditation and yoga, the philosophy of yoga is that everything is connected and this is something that is often expressed in Marie-Louise's art, without her thinking about it.
