Walewska: The motif Walewska is a work of art by Annica Johansson, an artist who likes to paint our iconic film stars who worked in the Swedish dream factory, some who have inspired me a lot are Ingrid Bergman, Greta Garbo, Mai Zetterling and others. In the artwork Walewska, Annica has drawn inspiration from the film with Greta Garbo about Napoleon's love for the Polish countess Marie Walewska. Annica Johansson has been active in the Old Film City in Råsunda since 1996 with a studio in Ingmar Bergman's former room. She constantly searches for the feeling in her paintings. Figurative with a twist to the abstract, humor with a bit of seriousness, the barbed wire in the princess cake, darkness meets light.
